Today’s post is about tips on packing light and how to travel with a carry-on bag only. I have a love and hate relationship with packing before but it’s one of the things I have focused on perfecting or at least close to.
I love traveling and as much as I love bringing my closet with me, I cannot. Being strategic and planning your travel outfit everyday day is the best thing you could do. I’d like to worry less about what I’ll be wearing for the day and focus on my travel experience.
Packing skill takes a lot of getting used to and I am going to share my tips on how you can travel with a carry-on bag only.

I prefer a back pack or if you do not want it, a small luggage. It depends on your preference really, on what is easier for you to carry around. I prefer backpack and I love the ones with many pockets and options where you can slide and sneak small items. A spacious one without looking bulky is my favorite.

Using travel pouches / packing cube is also a good idea. It helps you better organize your things when you pack.
This is hard but you got to try to pick which is the best, appropriate and the easiest to bring. If you have travel size/sachets packs with you, the better. I love me some small/travel lippies that can fit in your pocket.
One of the ways to save space is to use a ziplock for toiletries. I usually use travel-sized products/brands. The good thing about Ziplock is it’s not bulky. It’s okay for it to be wet and easy to pack.
Depends on where you are staying usually posh hotels will sure provide you with towels but I suggest to bring lightweight one like Towelite. Easy to dry, roll and pack in your bag.
Clothes – Dress, lightweight ones that doesn’t need ironing should be your go-to’s. Bring pieces you can mix and match.
Sneakers is the way to go. It’s my go-to pair whenever I am traveling and the one I wear to save space. Try neutfral colored ones so it’s easy to pair with your outfits. Don’t forget to bring at least 1 pair of slippers. My favorite is Havaianas.
Get one where you can slid your mobile phone, credit cards/cash, passport, ticket, essentials, important documents you needed to bring. You have to keep them in one organizer for easy reach when you need it.
